Cardio-Fitness

Offered at all parks.

Complete fitness training classes in groups of 10 to 15 people, including cardiovascular exercise intervals, muscle toning and relaxation techniques derived from tai chi.
Ideal for:

  • improving your cardiovascular health;
  • losing weight;
  • strengthening and toning muscles;
  • socializing and making new friends.
Fitness-Express

Abriged version without muscle toning exercises (45 min.). Ideal for those who don’t have a lot of time to train and for mothers returning to work after their maternity leave. No equipment required.

Outdoor Vitality

Same structure as Cardio Muscle Toning with a more moderate pace and reduced intensity. Ideal for elderly people or those who want to start training.

Cardio-Circuit

Training can be fun! This class encourages team work and/or two-by-two training with alternating fitness techniques. Not offered in winter.

Stroller (Sled) Fitness

Complete workout with baby offered at all parks.

Same format as the Cardio Muscle Toning class, except that mothers push their infants in their carriages (in winter, a sled is used). Ideal for new mothers who wish to get back into shape, all while making new friends.

Infants should be at least 2 weeks old (for births without complications) or from 6 to 8 weeks old (for births by cesarean section or with complications) up to about 12 months.

We suggest that infants be breastfed before or after the activity

Outdoor BootCamp

Fit individuals who wish to exceed their current limits of cardiovascular and muscular endurance. The focus is on interval training with periods that are longer and more intense than the Cardio Muscle Toning class. Increased walking pace, punctuated by periods of jogging.

Cardio-Kickboxing

An Outdoor Fitness innovation: outdoor kickboxing for physically fit clients with no health problems who want to push their limits! This class includes an initial cardiovascular portion in which boxing movements are fused with traditional exercises. The second portion focuses on perfecting martial arts techniques using gloves and practice pads in groups of two or four people. Finally, a real kickboxing class!

Outdoor Body Sculpt

Complete muscle training designed to develop strength, endurance and tonicity of all muscle groups. This class does not involve a cardiovascular period and is a good complement to Cardio-Express. Not offered in winter.

Outdoor Stretching

This class is designed to improve body awareness and posture using isometric and dynamic exercises followed by a flexibility and relaxation period. Ideal for toning and stretching the body in a soothing atmosphere. This course is offered only during summer.
